LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of West Alabama is pleased to announce the 2024 Athletics Hall of Fame Class, which will be inducted on Oct. 5.

This year's class includes Thibault Charmey, Otha Foster III, Henry "Teakettle" Nettles, Harry Satterwhite and the 2024 Women's Rodeo National Championship Team.

"This is a special class. We have back-to-back Women's Rodeo National Champions. We have an NFL Vet who is also a veteran of the Marine Corps," said Dee Outlaw, Athletic Director Emeritus and chair of the Hall of Fame committee.

"We also have our first soccer inductee, one of our oldest inductees and one of our youngest inductees. We are so proud of all these men and women for their outstanding Tiger careers."

The first UWA Athletics Hall of Fame induction was in 1981 to honor former student-athletes, coaches, students, teams and administrators who have represented the university with outstanding play, coaching, or leadership, both while on campus and/or in their careers. Since its inception, 96 members, plus two national championship teams, have been recognized.

For those wishing to submit a nomination, the form is HERE. There is a five-year waiting period following the end of their UWA career for former student-athletes. Administrators, coaches and teams have no waiting period.
